A simple blend of Indian spices (masala) and a generous dash of lemon can turn a rather bland piece of fish into pure magic…
Take it a step further and put the spice marinated tikka-size fish on a hot outdoor grill, and you’ve got mouthwatering bites of tandoor-style fish tikka kebab.
While I’ve used Mahi-Mahi as the fish for my kebabs, any firm flesh fish like Cod, Indian salmon-Rawas or Halibut can be transformed into fish tikka kebab with this dry spice rub.
Serve Lemony Masala Mahi-Mahi Fish Tikka Kebab with green coconut chutney or spicy tomato chutney, and a refreshing side of cucumber and onion raita salad or a heartier lemon and mint quinoa salad, both of which compliment the flavor of spiced fish really well.
