An Indian classic with global culinary acclaim, ‘Chicken Tikka’ needs little introduction.
So today, inspired by the flavors of north India’s cream-based Malai Chicken Tikka; I’ve created a magically flavor-filled marinade of creamy buttermilk, fragrant fresh thyme and juicy lemon along with a combination of warm Indian spices like cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.
Often, I like to make a meal of these delicious tikka-style kebabs, accompanied by a side of steaming hot Yellow Daal and crisp Indian bread like paratha or naan.
Either way, the versatile chicken tikka have earned their true place of pride in the Indian cuisine, and my kebab creation of Buttermilk and Thyme Chicken Tikka, with tangy creamy buttermilk and the lemony thyme will soon be a delectable part of your daily meals.
